Here is the trailer for Duncan Jones' CGI live action Warcraft knick-knack. Blizzard has meanwhile founded a film studio, first there should be a series about Skylanders (no idea, never seen, never played), then films about "Call of Duty" should follow. The following film is being produced by Legendary, so Blizzard has more secondary fingers in the game. The CGI looks pretty great, I don't give a damn about the characters, a little bit of Hulk, a little bit of standard fantasy stuff and none of it warrants going to the cinema. Another game adaptation. Maybe I'm underestimating the attraction of the myriad international WoW gamers, here's the plot:
The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearful race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.
So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
